Radishes are a crop for cool weather. It is recommended to sow radishes in the garden 2-3 weeks before the last spring frost. Sow another crop every 2 weeks in spring and autumn. Two or more crops can be grown in spring.
You can harvest radishes from 22 to 70 days and finish before it gets warmer. Small roots may form in warm weather. Long days may cause radish blooms; plant radishes on shorter spring and fall days. In regions with mild winters, radishes are grown in late autumn and early winter. Radish tolerates frost well.
