FAQ

Sow the seed clusters across moist soil or coir, cover for 3-4 days to aid germination, then uncover for bright light. Beet seeds are slower to sprout, so keep them evenly moist and patient.
Beet microgreens are typically ready in about 10-16 days, a little slower than radish or arugula.
Beet microgreens produce striking pink and red stems with green leaves, making them a favorite garnish for salads and plates.
A pre-soak of 4-8 hours can speed and improve germination for beet microgreens, since the seed clusters have a tough outer coat.
No. Harvest with a single cut at the base and reseed the tray for the next crop.
Yes. They grow well indoors in soil, coir, or hydroponic trays under bright light in any season.

About Beet Sprouting & Microgreens Seeds

Beet Microgreens Seeds for Sprouts and Microgreens

Grow sweet, earthy beet greens with vivid magenta stems two easy ways from one bulk bag. Rinse the seeds in a jar for tender sprouts in a few days, or sow them densely on a shallow tray for a colorful flush of microgreens in a week or two. They bring crisp fresh flavor and a splash of color to the plate, indoors year round, with no garden required.

Who it's for

Cooks who want a striking, colorful garnish, home growers who love a nutrient-dense green, and anyone with a jar, a tray, or a bright windowsill. Works with soil, coconut coir, and most microgreen trays.

How to grow sprouts and microgreens

Sprouts: Soak a spoonful of seeds overnight, then rinse and drain in a sprouting jar two or three times a day. Keep them out of direct sun and they are ready in about 4 to 6 days.

Microgreens: Scatter the seeds densely across a shallow tray of moist soil or coir, mist daily, and give them light once they green up. Beet seeds are a little slower than most, so give them a few extra days. No soil is required for the sprouts method, only a jar and water.

Harvest

Sprouts are ready in roughly 4 to 6 days. Microgreens are ready to cut in about 1 to 2 weeks, once the first true leaves show and the stems turn deep pink. Snip just above the soil line with clean scissors and rinse before eating.

Flavor and uses

Sweet and earthy with vivid magenta stems that make any dish pop. Beautiful on salads, grain bowls, and toast, alongside goat cheese, or as a colorful finishing garnish on soups and plates.

FAQ

Are these seeds non-GMO and heirloom? Yes. Every batch is non-GMO heirloom and germination tested before it ships.

What is the difference between sprouts and microgreens? Sprouts are grown in a jar with just water and eaten whole within a few days. Microgreens are grown on a tray of soil or coir, given light, and cut above the soil after a week or two.

How fast do they grow? Sprouts in about 4 to 6 days, microgreens in about 1 to 2 weeks. Beets run a touch slower than most seeds.

Do I need soil? Not for sprouts, which only need a jar and water. Microgreens do best on a shallow layer of soil or coconut coir.

How do I store the seeds? Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry, dark spot. The seeds stay viable for years when stored this way.
