Customers praised these seeds for "almost 100% germination rate" and rapid sprouting, often in just 2 days. Many reported healthy, vibrant plants with "beautifully colored" greens. While most had success, some experienced packaging damage during shipping and customer service issues.

  • Great seeds with almost 100% germination rate.
  • Holy cow! I planted these, and they were up in just two days.

Micro greens e really healthier good your body

These microgreens are easy to grow in so many different ways. I personally prefer the soaking option as it is easier for me. I love to eat them in combination with my regular meals or salads. This bag provides enough supplies for a long time. I have used micro greens from another business in the past, this is my first time using this one but so far all looks perfect starting with the package. Very well seal in zip lock bag. I happily recommend it, micro-greens will make you healthy.

Good Sprouting

The seeds arrived in a nice package with lots of information. Unfortunately, the front of the package was covered by a big shipping label sticker, but that just means I couldn't take a picture. I really appreciate these are non-gmo heirloom as I wouldn't purchase them if they were. Nice sturdy product bag, which is nice since the last thing you want are seeds going everywhere.I use the mason jar method for sprouting micro greens, which I find to be much easier and faster. To test these, I used a single tablespoon of seeds to try these out. I cleaned, soaked, and then started the daily sprouting. After just a few days, a majority are sprouted and things are going well. Looks to be good quality and a good germination rate

Made in the USA, Heirloom, Non-GMO, & Over 20,000 Seeds in the Pack!

Top quality Beet Microgreen seeds in a one pound bag. I love that these are heirloom, non-GMO, tested for germination, and Made in the USA. These are nutrient dense, and I am using these for sprouting instead of planting them. If the bag is sealed it will last 2 years. They also state that they have a 90% germination rate and the bag contains over 20,000 seeds. I'm very happy to have found this brand. AAA++++

Grew mold less than 12 hours after soaking.

I really wanted to like these, I love beets and I love growing things so I thought this would be great. I soaked and drained, followed the directions using a sterilized container. But I was disappointed to find mold in 2 out of three of my test batches in less than 24 hours including the soak and that was in a ventilated area. My other sprouts are doing fine, no mold. Thankfully I only tested a small amount. Other than the mold they seemed to have roots and would have been great. Im pretty sad.

Not to be used in sprouting jar

These don’t work in a sprouted as originally planned. However, switched course and planted as directed. They require a little more finesse for growth.

not a good sprouter

Very low germination. Very dissapointing

Could be user error, but germination rate was low for me

Maybe I’m doing it wrong but only maybe a 25% germination rate with these seeds. I’ve done other seeds with the mason jar method and filled the whole Jar with ease. Will try again and do a little more research if beets need some extra work but so far poor results on my first attempt.

Seeds germinated in bag prior to arrival

About 50% of these seeds seemed to have germinated in the package before arrival. Perhaps there was too much moisture in the seeds when they were packaged.

Seed Pod removal issue!

Somewhat disappointed. They germinated great, grew to 3” in potting soil with natural sun( what we’ve had here in the NW) and a grow lamp. The taste was great, but couldn’t save enough to eat. My issue is that they would not detach from the seed pod … unless I removed them manually. Painstaking adventure! NOT at all what I wanted or expected.

Quality Products and Great Knowledgeable Cusotmer Service

I really did not get to use how I was hoping as a microgreen because it would have been more cost and work than I wanted. But I asked the customer service before I bough them and they are honest, knowledgably and responded to my question promptly. They have answered my question not only about this item but other items as well. I owe them 5 stars just for the customer service and the knowledge they have provided. The product sprouts great as well. a couple table spoons and I have more beet plants than I can count in my garden and did get some as microgreens I cut form the soil. I just did not want to invest in the hemp pads. But really found better use for them. Again the customer service is very responsive honest and great. They go the extra mile and answer my questions sincerely. While I can ask a lot of questions I can tell when other company's agents get annoyed. But they seem to be glad to answer any questions. I will be buying this and some of their other products.

Sprouted well

It took us a while to get to these but when we did they sprouted well. I'm not an expert on this, but this seems like a good choice for microgreens.

About Beet Sprouting & Microgreen Seeds

Beet Microgreens Seeds for Sprouts and Microgreens

Grow sweet, earthy beet greens with vivid magenta stems two easy ways from one bulk bag. Rinse the seeds in a jar for tender sprouts in a few days, or sow them densely on a shallow tray for a colorful flush of microgreens in a week or two. They bring crisp fresh flavor and a splash of color to the plate, indoors year round, with no garden required.

Who it's for

Cooks who want a striking, colorful garnish, home growers who love a nutrient-dense green, and anyone with a jar, a tray, or a bright windowsill. Works with soil, coconut coir, and most microgreen trays.

How to grow sprouts and microgreens

Sprouts: Soak a spoonful of seeds overnight, then rinse and drain in a sprouting jar two or three times a day. Keep them out of direct sun and they are ready in about 4 to 6 days.

Microgreens: Scatter the seeds densely across a shallow tray of moist soil or coir, mist daily, and give them light once they green up. Beet seeds are a little slower than most, so give them a few extra days. No soil is required for the sprouts method, only a jar and water.

Harvest

Sprouts are ready in roughly 4 to 6 days. Microgreens are ready to cut in about 1 to 2 weeks, once the first true leaves show and the stems turn deep pink. Snip just above the soil line with clean scissors and rinse before eating.

Flavor and uses

Sweet and earthy with vivid magenta stems that make any dish pop. Beautiful on salads, grain bowls, and toast, alongside goat cheese, or as a colorful finishing garnish on soups and plates.

FAQ

Are these seeds non-GMO and heirloom? Yes. Every batch is non-GMO heirloom and germination tested before it ships.

What is the difference between sprouts and microgreens? Sprouts are grown in a jar with just water and eaten whole within a few days. Microgreens are grown on a tray of soil or coir, given light, and cut above the soil after a week or two.

How fast do they grow? Sprouts in about 4 to 6 days, microgreens in about 1 to 2 weeks. Beets run a touch slower than most seeds.

Do I need soil? Not for sprouts, which only need a jar and water. Microgreens do best on a shallow layer of soil or coconut coir.

How do I store the seeds? Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry, dark spot. The seeds stay viable for years when stored this way.

FAQ

Sow the seed clusters across moist soil or coir, cover for 3-4 days to aid germination, then uncover for bright light. Beet seeds are slower to sprout, so keep them evenly moist and patient.
Beet microgreens are typically ready in about 10-16 days, a little slower than radish or arugula.
Beet microgreens produce striking pink and red stems with green leaves, making them a favorite garnish for salads and plates.
A pre-soak of 4-8 hours can speed and improve germination for beet microgreens, since the seed clusters have a tough outer coat.
No. Harvest with a single cut at the base and reseed the tray for the next crop.
Yes. They grow well indoors in soil, coir, or hydroponic trays under bright light in any season.
