Easy

Very easy to germinate, fast, good growth, I grew hydroponically which worked well, no soil. Was hoping stems would be darker red, but more pinkish, still taste good, spicy, I made lovely salad topped with various homegrown microgreens including radish, really good, do recommend.

Customers said these seeds offer excellent germination rates and fast growth, with sprouts ready in days. They praised the spicy, peppery flavor. However, some reported inconsistent germination, with only 10-50% sprouting in certain batches. Most found them easy to grow indoors and highly nutritious, though a few noted quality varied between orders.

  • Extremely high-quality seeds with almost 100% germination. Super easy to grow indoors.
  • Germinated within two days, ready to eat within a week. High quality.
  • Excellent mix of mild to spicy varieties. The sprouting rate is impressive for a great price.

Two days in and I would say that the picture speaks for itself. The roots are on the way to the bottom and I should see a sprouts soon. You’ve got yourself a repeat customer.

Don't listen to the bag instructions

The bag says to soak the seeds for 24 hours, which is the same for all varieties. That doesn't make any sense because arugula gets sticky when in contact with water. I got broccoli, radish, arugula, and beet. I agree the germination rates are good, but the instructions aren't great. I had a bad experience with the beet, but that might be my fault for not soaking them long enough because of their hard seed coat. I think beet is the only variety the instructions are accurate for. Also, something's up with the radish; it doesn't have a purple stem.I'm not totally disappointed with my purchase because they're good seeds with good germination rates. They just need better instructions.Update with the beet situation... turns out the germination rate is actually good, its just really slow. It took me almost a month to get results like the picture (hydroponically). Definitely soak beforehand.

Seeds must be old.

Not good germination ratio. Usually radish seed are ready in three days. These have been in the works for 6 days and they’re not sprouting like they should. I tried a Tablespoon in my sprouting jar , I rinse them many times a day and it usually works really well. I now put 3 Tablespoons in another jar and if it’s the same poor results I’m going to try returning these and ordering from Berlin seeds. Theirs are very fresh.

Raddish microgreen seeds

I like these seeds they the same things are very green. They taste great. The germination rate is less than seven days. The quality of seedlings that you get from me seeds are amazing. The growth rate of the same things are good and I mean the radish micro green, so the variety is all the same their radish micro green seeds. They’re a great quality of seed they produce very good plants and you get over 50,000 seeds with the size of bag that I bought. I will buy these again.

Beautiful sprouts in a matter of days!

I have used these seeds to grow sprouts several times and each time is a success. The sprouts develop their vibrant color after a couple of days (once the leaves appear). The freshness of the sprouts is optimal - nothing like store-bought sprouts. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a little pop in color on their plate.

Used in the Mini Acre Tower by Acre Towers. Great germination rate and did not seem to have any contaminates. Will continue to buy.

Ravishing radishes are radically delicious! They grow fast!

These seeds are excellent. They grow fast, germinate well, and taste great. Add a little spice to your diet! Here are my observations:- Germination %: These had a near perfect germination rate. I'd guess it was around 95-99%. It took me a 3.5 days to germinate them. I didn't soak them and wouldn't in the future. I think this germination time could definitely be improved a bit.- Growth Rate: My radish microgreens were ready to harvest around 5 days but could also grow longer. I'd say 7 days may be the sweet spot. They are excellent growers and nearly maintenance free.- Taste: I love the radish taste. It's classic spicy radish, I'd compare it to the pink radishes you find in most grocery stores.- Value: I think these seeds are fairly priced and compare well to microgreen seeds I've purchased elsewhere.Notes: The radishes are on the right of all of my attached pictures. This was my first time growing this particular type of radish so keep that in mind, there are many variables that could be optimized. I grow using two full spectrum T8 LED lights using about 36W each (which worked perfectly for these seeds.) I bottom watered once a day and this seemed to be plenty. I used 0.8oz of seed for this grow but would likely reduce my sowing density on the next batch down to 0.75 or possibly 0.7 oz of seed.Happy growing!

QR Code on the bag Just Scan & Grow! Can't wait to Grow

This review is for Radish Sprouting Microgreen Seeds. They’re Non-GMO, Heirloom and come in a 1lb resealable bag. With the world in the state that it’s in and the supply chains slowing down I decided that planting a garden would be a good idea. There are over 50,000 seeds oh my! I’ve never done microgreens, so this is all new to me. The company has an online guide that has all the products they offer with instruction on growing which is great for a newbie like me. These are made in the USA by a family-owned business and that means a lot to me. This is not the first thing I’ve gotten from this company, and I’ve not been disappointed. Finally, they test their sprout seed for the highest germination rates before sealing and they say they last for up to 3 years, which is good because it will take me that long to use the bag up. There is also a QR cold on the bag so you can scan and grow LOL I haven’t tried these seeds yet but I like this company, the variety they have and recommend them.

Great Package For Growing Microgreens (UPDATED WITH PHOTO)

UPDATED WITH PHOTOI have grown these in my new small microgreens tray quite a few times now. They all seem to sprout, they grow fast and are delicious. In this photo, the radish seeds are growing with the cress. I have since changed so that each seed has their own section and remain separate instead of mixed. They grow better that way.---------------ORIGINAL REVIEWWe have been wanting to grow our own microgreens in our basement in the winter. Sometimes it is too hard to find greens and sprouts of good quality locally.HOW THESE COMEThese seeds come in a metallic lined zipper topped bag. Once open, you can reseal it with a zipper bag. I tend to put these in a jar over time, however, as the bags wear out.SPROUTING?These sprout very easily in my preliminary test on a paper towel. I forsee these working well.HOW I AM USING THESEI will be using these in a small hydroponic system, then with a grow light and a small tray of soil, and eventually in the garden to grow full sized radishes.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a great way to buy bulk seeds to grow microgreens in the winter, and then have some radishes in the summer. There is a great growth guide link on the back too.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This is just what I needed to grow some decent microgreens in our home. Regular seeds in our area are too expensive and smaller amounts. These are perfect.

Great flavor! 🌱

I have been using micro green hydroponic trays to grow these. No dirt, just a fiber mat on water. In 1 week the sprouts are tall, filled with nutrients and ready to eat. These have a terrific, spicy flavor! The bag is sealable and stands to store for easy access.

Great Sprouts in Five Days

The seeds look healthy and fresh. I used the jar method and put two tablespoons of seeds in a sprout jar, soaked them overnight and rinsed the next morning. I rinsed 2x a day, 12 hours apart. On Day 1 a few had sprouted, Day 2 almost all had started to sprout, by Day 4 [first picture, the jar was full of sprouts and I put it near the window to green them]. Day 5 [second picture, I had a healthy serving of fresh, plump, and spicy tasting sprouts].The seeds are well packed in mylar lined, rezippable bag. Clean and uniform in size and shape. I'm going to check out the other varieties from this company.

Never Disappointed with Organo

Very good germination! I have purchased several microgreen sprouting seeds from Organo and all are notable in their germination rate as well as the final product. Their Radish microgreen seeds are no exception. I sprout microgreens for serious health problems and I really do not look past Organo for my seeds. If anything, Organo microgreen seeds seem to be a little ahead of the growth timeline you see in online videos.

Less than 50%of the Seeds Grew

We got 1 bag from Amazon initially and it was fantastic with most of the seeds sprouting within 4 days. When we ran out we bought from Amazon again and only 10% sprouted even when we left them a couple extra days.We assumed they might have been older seeds in the warehouse so we wanted to get them directly from Organo Republic to make sure the seeds were fresh but unfortunately only half the seeds grew but the broccoli sprouts we got from them filled the jar. Radish sprouts are my wife’s favorite, so I am sad to say we will be looking for another company to get them from.

Radish Seeds for Microgreens and Sprouts

Grow spicy, crisp radish two easy ways from one bulk bag. Rinse the seeds in a jar for tender sprouts in a few days, or sow them densely on a shallow tray for a fast, sturdy flush of microgreens in a week or two. Radish is one of the quickest and most beginner-friendly greens you can grow indoors, year round, with no garden required.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants a fast, dependable grow with real flavor, from first-timers to seasoned microgreen growers. Works with soil, coconut coir, and most microgreen trays, plus a simple jar for sprouts.

How to grow sprouts and microgreens

Sprouts: Soak a spoonful of seeds overnight, then rinse and drain in a sprouting jar two or three times a day. Keep them out of direct sun and they are ready in about 3 to 5 days.

Microgreens: Scatter the seeds densely across a shallow tray of moist soil or coir, mist daily, and give them light once they green up. No soil is required for the sprouts method, only a jar and water.

Harvest

Sprouts are ready in roughly 3 to 5 days. Microgreens are ready to cut in about 1 to 2 weeks, once the first true leaves appear. Snip just above the soil line with clean scissors and rinse before eating.

Flavor and uses

Spicy and peppery with a crisp bite. Great on tacos, sandwiches, and burgers, stirred into slaws and salads, or used as a bright, fresh garnish on soups and bowls.

FAQ

Sow the seeds densely on moist soil or coir, cover for 2-3 days to help them root, then uncover and give bright light. Radish is one of the easiest and fastest microgreens to grow.
Radish microgreens grow quickly and are usually ready to harvest in just 6-10 days.
For tray-grown microgreens no soaking is required. If sprouting in a jar, soak 6-8 hours, then rinse and drain twice daily.
No. Cut them once just above the soil and reseed the tray for your next crop.
Absolutely. They thrive indoors in soil, coir, or on hydroponic mats and can be grown any time of year on a sunny sill or under a grow light.
Sprouts are grown in a jar with just water and eaten whole within a few days. Microgreens are grown on a tray of soil or coir, given light, and cut above the soil after a week or two.
Not for sprouts, which only need a jar and water. Microgreens do best on a shallow layer of soil or coconut coir.
Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry, dark spot. The seeds stay viable for years when stored this way.
