Flavor is so fun

Couldn't be happier. Look at this bounty! And this was literally two tablespoons of seeds. We're going to be rich in sprouts for a very long time! The flavor is so fun -- a hint of broccoli with a touch of arugula. I had them in a salad last night, looking forward to enjoying on sandwiches.

100% recommend!

A relatively easy multi-step process to grow your own microgreens. This is my first time trying indoor plant growing. The pictures I posted are the results of 4 days including the 24hours to soak the seeds. I had to get creative on the dull and cloudy rainy days with barely any sunlight so i used my EGO LED work light. Convenient resealable bags. The greens sprouted beautifully. Thick, strong stems. Would 100% recommend!

Easy to Grow!

These have been sprouting nicely. I first grew in some soil about 1/2 inch deep in a baking pan. Now I am using the jar method. I put 1/4 cup into a half gallon Mason jar. Let them soak for about 12 hours initially and then rinse them twice daily. I've been putting them in everything. To me, they taste almost like radishes.

These seeds are great

These have been some of the easiest to grow broccoli seeds. Don't listen to other reviews telling you to soak them for 8 hours. Here's the method: 1L mason jar with mesh lid. 45° angle stand. Wash the jar with soap and water. Soak 2-3 hours tops. Rinse the seeds and shake all the water out that you can. Roll the jar around so the seeds stick in a single layer. Place on stand so any excess water can drip off. Rinse and drain well twice per day. Optimal temp 70°f and room humidity around 50% Full jar in 5 days. Place it in a sunny spot on the last day for green sprouts. Submerge in water to float any ungrown seeds. Rinse well and store in fridge for up to 3 days.

Fast healthy sprouts

These broccoli seeds were easy to sprout and seemed to have a high percentage of seeds that sprouted. Just took a few days to go from wetting to eating. Makes for a handy nutritious addition to my diet. I enjoy the sprouts on keto bread with avocado and cottage cheese.

Grew as advertised. Satisfied customer

I planted a little over a tablespoon of seeds in a 1020 with 1inch of coconut husk. Sprayed it four times a day everyday. covered for 2 days. Ran my LED grow lights 24/7 for days 3-7 and harvested on 8. Waiting til day 10 made it easier to harvest though because it got even taller and easier to grab. Tried using scissors at first but knife was much more efficient. They taste great. All the seeds sprouted. I will purchase again and try the other varieties of micro greens also. Highly recommend my purchase.

Easy to sprout & Taste great!

These are easy to sprout in a jar & they taste great! They are not slimey. The sprout rate is also very very good. I had very few that didn't germinate. Taste is very clean as well. I soak for 24 hours then drain & cap my jars with cheese cloth. I then rinse & drain 2x a day. First 3 days I wrap my jars in kitchen towels. Then next 4 days set in the window sill in the draining position unwrapped so they get light. I rinse & drain in the morning pretty early around 6am. Then again at dinner time around 7pm. This has produced tons of delicious sprouts within 6-7 days. They also keep well in the fridge.

My seeds arrived today. Can’t wait to start using them. They arrived sooner than I had expected.

About Broccoli Sprouting & Microgreen Seeds

Broccoli Microgreens Seeds and Broccoli Sprouting Seeds

Grow crisp, nutrient-dense broccoli two easy ways from one bulk bag. Rinse the seeds in a jar for tender sprouts in a few days, or sow them on a shallow tray for a dense flush of microgreens in a week or two. It is one of the fastest, most reliable indoor greens you can grow, indoors year round, with no garden required.

Who it's for

Home cooks who want fresh greens on hand any time of year, beginners looking for a quick first grow, and anyone with a countertop, windowsill, jar, or tray. Works with soil, coconut coir, and most microgreen trays.

How to grow sprouts and microgreens

Sprouts: Soak a spoonful of seeds overnight, then rinse and drain in a sprouting jar two or three times a day. Keep them out of direct sun and they are ready to eat in about 3 to 5 days.

Microgreens: Scatter the seeds densely across a shallow tray of moist soil or coir, mist daily, and give them light once they green up. No soil is required for the sprouts method, only a jar and water.

Harvest

Sprouts are ready in roughly 3 to 5 days once the tails appear. Microgreens are ready to cut in about 1 to 2 weeks, when the first true leaves show. Snip just above the soil line with clean scissors and rinse before eating.

Flavor and uses

Mild and fresh with a clean, green taste. Pile them onto sandwiches, salads, grain bowls, avocado toast, and wraps, or use them as a fresh finishing garnish.

FAQ

Are these seeds non-GMO and heirloom? Yes. Every batch is non-GMO heirloom and germination tested before it ships.

What is the difference between sprouts and microgreens? Sprouts are grown in a jar with just water and eaten whole, seed and all, within a few days. Microgreens are grown on a tray of soil or coir, given light, and cut above the soil after a week or two.

How fast do they grow? Sprouts in about 3 to 5 days, microgreens in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Do I need soil? Not for sprouts, which only need a jar and water. Microgreens do best on a shallow layer of soil or coconut coir.

How do I store the seeds? Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry, dark spot. The seeds stay viable for years when stored this way.

New to growing these? Read our broccoli microgreens growing guide, or browse the full microgreens and sprouting seeds collection.

FAQ

Sow seeds densely on a moist soil or coir tray, blackout-cover for 2-3 days, then uncover for bright indirect light and mist to keep evenly moist. The 4oz size is ideal for smaller, frequent batches.
A 4oz bag covers several standard 10x20 trays depending on how thickly you sow, making it a good starter size for home growers.
Expect to harvest in about 8-12 days, once the first true leaves appear above the seed leaves.
No, they are cut once just above the soil line and do not regrow; simply reseed for your next batch.
No pre-soak is needed for tray-grown microgreens. Soaking only applies if you grow them as jar sprouts (6-8 hours).
Yes. They grow well on hydroponic grow mats or coco coir; keep them moist with good airflow and bright light.
Spread seeds densely over moist soil or coir, cover for 2-3 days to boost germination, then uncover for bright light and keep evenly moist by misting. The 8oz size suits regular growers.
An 8oz bag seeds many standard trays across multiple sowings, offering more value than the 4oz size for frequent growers.
They are usually ready in about 8-12 days, when the first true leaves start to show above the seed leaves.
No. Cut them once at the base and reseed the tray for the next crop.
No. Tray-grown microgreens do not need soaking; that step is only for jar sprouts, which soak 6-8 hours.
Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry, dark place. Stored properly the seeds stay viable for a long time between sowings.
Spread seeds densely over a shallow tray of moist soil or coconut coir, mist daily, and keep them covered for the first 2-3 days to help germination. Uncover once sprouted and give them bright indirect light.
Broccoli microgreens are usually ready to cut in about 8-12 days, once the first true leaves begin to appear above the seed leaves.
No. Microgreens are harvested once by snipping just above the soil line; they do not regrow, so you simply reseed the tray for your next batch.
For microgreens grown in soil or coir you do not need to pre-soak. If you are growing them as sprouts in a jar, rinse and soak for 6-8 hours before draining.
A 1lb resealable bag seeds many trays and can produce several pounds of fresh microgreens over multiple sowings, making it a great value for regular growers.
Yes. These seeds grow well hydroponically on a grow mat, in coconut coir, or in a countertop system as long as they stay evenly moist with good airflow and light.
