How to Grow Cat Grass

Barley, Oat, Rye & Wheat Grass Mix

Sowing & Germination

• Indoors (Year-Round Growing):
• Use a shallow tray (2–3" deep) with drainage holes
• Fill with organic potting mix or coconut coir
• Evenly spread seeds thickly on moist soil
• Lightly press into the surface (do not bury)
• Mist with water and cover tray with plastic wrap or humidity dome
• Keep at 65–75°F until sprouting (2–4 days)
• Soaking (Optional but Recommended):
• Soak seeds for 6–12 hours in cool water before planting

Growing Conditions

• Temp: 65–75°F
• Watering: Keep soil moist (not soggy); mist daily
• Light: Indirect sunlight or grow light
• Soil: Well-drained, chemical-free potting mix
• Germination: 2–4 days
• Harvest Time: 7–10 days (grass 4–6" tall)

• Harvest with scissors when blades reach 4–6 inches
• Rinse thoroughly before feeding to pets
• Offer small amounts daily for best digestion support
• Refrigerate trimmed grass in an airtight container (lasts 5–7 days)
• Reseed every 1–2 weeks for a continuous supply
