6 Easy Steps to Grow Cosmos

1. Choose a Season – Plant after last frost in spring when soil has warmed to 65–70 °F (18–21 °C). Cosmos thrive in summer heat and bloom into fall.

2. Choose the Right Spot – Full sun is ideal. Prefers average, well-drained soil; overly rich soil can reduce blooms.

3. Prepare the Soil – Remove weeds and loosen the soil. Avoid adding too much fertilizer; cosmos do best in moderately fertile soil.

4. Broadcast the Seeds – Sow seeds evenly and thinly.

Note: 1 oz covers ~250 sq.ft. for optimal growth.
